so... everything was fine, cool edit pro was working good.
this is what i usually did, i opened up cool edit pro, and either clicked... open up a file, or just dragged the file in (an instrumental). then i did my usual recording.
but now when i open up a file, or drag it in, it asks for a sample rate, which its never usually asks me for... and whatever i select in the sample rate, the file (instrumental) just sounds like rustled noise!!
anyone know how to set it back to the way it was??
