ok heres whats going on.
i have the arrdvark lx6 and im running into that through my mackie onyx 1620 mixer via the big printer looking cable hookup on the back of the mixer.(sorry cant remember the name of the cable). i use sonar 3.0 producers edition, the problem im having is when i hook a condenser mic up it sounds like i am in a wind tunnel and my meters just about peak out with the gain on the mackie channel set at about 3/4 of the way up. no matter what i do i get this. i am using a stedman u15 usa made condenser mic. could it just be the mic? my akg cs100 doesnt make this much noise.even at higher gain settings.any help would be great thanks.
