Does it SOUND like you have a problem? If it doesn't, you're fishing for turds in the toilet bowl.
 
looks alright to me, I've recorded vocalist that jumped all over the spetrum so I've seen worse.

If there are too many peaks and valleys you might want to use the roll off switch (I did this on my KSM27 when vocalist were peaking too loud) or invest in a compressor. Again it's about the sound at the end of the day, not how it looks.
 
If you want to even it out, you can copy one side and paste to new (stereo).

why would anyone want to do that? It wouldnt be a true stereo track unless it was recorded with 2 mic's. converting that track into a stereo track would only change one thing...and that is that it would double the harddrive space that the track takes up. You would still be getting the same signal to both the right and left speakers.

When I read the question and looked at the picture, the only thing i could see that he might be talking about is how the top half of the wave was not symetrical to the bottom half, notice how the spikes on top are higher than on bottom. If this is infact the question, then what you have there is normal. nothing to worry about...just use a little compression and go with it...
 
You can't have a phasing problem on one mono track. What's your complaint? The way it looks or the way it sounds?

My mistake! I looked again and saw it was a mono wav. I must be seeing double :)
