Hello all I am a newbie here. I want to start to record and make my own rap CDs. I am just getting started. I know absolutely nothing. I want to know what I need to get started.

I want to know what do I need to get the raps recorded on my computer.
Than I want to know what to get to get the raps in CD format
THen I want to know what I need to get them timed and stuff
I need everything please help me. Would be much appreciated by me.

Also does anyone use Keyboards to male beats? Is so how do you convert your beats over to the computer from the keyboard?

Thats a whole lot of info bwoy, luckily your at homerec.com, see that little button marked "search", click it, punch in a word, and start searchin, other than that---you said you "know absolutley nothing", I'd expand a bit on that, so people can help you out if you do have any skills(ie.rapping, making beats in any form, playing any instruments-----shit like that). bare essentials for recording into a computer though would be a half decent soundcard, a mic, and some kind of software.

use the search option on those very same questions.. And then from there you will be able to ask a more specfic question which then others will share there experiences and thus ya learn........

Yeah I know how to spit hot lyrics. I just need to know how to record and do all of the rest of the things.
