Help on br 1600!!

hi guys, i tried to load a song onto the computer via usb from the boss br1600, but the usb cable wasn't connected and when i connected it, the comp didnt recognisde it. And now the br1600 wont respond to anything, and only says waiting... :rolleyes:

any thoughts would help thanks

yeh i tried that but i comes up with "Cannot Disconnect USB Now Transferring Data..." . the power button doesn't even work. Is there any way fix this without turning all power off?
 
No, its not recognised for some reason, and says it has malfunctioned
 
What happens if you unplug the USB cable from the BR1600?
 
I think they go into over-ride shut down if you push and hold down (for a short time) the power off button a few times one after the other. Give that a go?
 
I just read the manual, and it say not to send data via usb without the usb cable connected! otherwise it may cause your computer not to respond to the data, and data on memory cards may also be corrupted. Yeh, its pretty obviuos to connect the cable but it shouldnt freeze up like this. theres no solution in the manual i can find to this problem so you got to help me lol
 
solved!! I turned the power switch off! The hard drive seems alright, no loss of data so all is good now. Thanks for the help guys.[
