N-Track crashes EVERY TIME that I go to the effects, and it's searching for DX Plugins. It used to work fine a few weeks ago, but nothing has changed since then to my knowlege.
Everything else works, but I really need to use my effects!
I'm using the latest BETA registered version of N-Track on WindowsME.
It does the same thing on the non-beta version as well.
I'm using the latest (LW 3.0)drivers for my SBLive, and
the latest DX-Media drivers.

The error message it gives is:

Ntrack has caused an error in VDK32119.ACM
Ntrack will now close.
If you continue to experience problems,
try restarting your computer.

And if I don't push OK to that within about 30 seconds, my computer will lock up solid and I need to phyiscally unplug it.

I did some research and found that VDK32119.ACM is a Microsoft codec of some sort. Probably useless to me, but it's crashing N-Track.
Perhaps it is corrupt?
If so, could someone try sending me theirs? Thanks.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Here you go

Go to this web page:
http://sonnylarsen.homepage.com/
click the button for CORE
click the link "1" and d/l the file.

I am using n-track 2.1.4 with an SBLive and having no problems except overreaching my CPUs ability. I would suggest uninstalling all versions of n-track first.
Then copy your version of the acm file into a temp directory(just as backup)
Then place the new download in the windows/system directory
Then re-install whichever verion of n-track you want. I had a similar problem with a system file that I replaced in the same manner and it worked, but do this at your own risk!
ANYTIME you mess with system files, you are playing russian roulette in my opinion.
Also, since I have no idea if it is legal for you to d/l that file, I will be removing it from the site in a few days.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the file! I appreciate the effort, that was awesome of you to do that.
I followed the technique you said... but, still no go, I'm afraid. Does the same thing still. Sigh...

Anyway, I figured a temporary way around the problem: I just moved the file right out of the windows/system directory and kept it as backup incase I ever need it again.
I don't know if I will, but I don't think so. N-Track no longer crashes that the file is no longer there, and all the effects are working great.

Anyway, thank you so much. It's a pity it didn't work out all that well, but anyway, things are fine for now I guess.
