Subject: Soundfonts
What I want to do, is basically make my own drum kit soundfont (or edit an existing one) using samples I already have. Now I know at this point your thinking, “read the fucking manual” well that’s the problem, I have and it still don’t make a whole heap of sense.
Does anybody have any web sites in mind that do a “step by step” approach to this?
Or, if any of you are feeling even more benevolent would somebody give me the basics in a more “man on the street” manner. (After which the help files may make more sense)
I have been using soundfonts for some time now and have always avoided “messing around with them” for fear of my head exploding. They are a powerful tool and I would like to get up to speed on this, hopefully with your help I may do so.
Alan.
P.S. I’m using Vienna 2.3 and CW Pro 9
