The tuners seem a little unrefined to me, and the font on the Rhythm/Treble disc seems a little large and uncentred.

There's a semi-Irish rock band around here named the Gobshite's, maybe this is theirs?!

I have an old guitar my grandpa picked up in the 1930s that looks like an old gibson L7 but with no finish and the name REX woodburned into the headstock. Sounds terrible and plays like a 2x4 with strings.

Probably about as real as the gobshite.
