help me spend my tax refund!

With my refund and selling some old equipment I don't use anymore, I should have about 2 grand to spend on my studio. I'm leaning towards a really nice vocal mic or a 4 channel mic-pre but I'm open to any and all suggestions. I am considering possibly a Pearlman TM-1 $1600 or a Daking Mic Pre IV $2100. Or maybe a mic/ single or dual channel pre combo like a peluso r14 ($645) plus Daking one ($675) or neve portico 5012 ($1500?).

My current mic collection includes
(2) 414 b-uls
(2) Neumann km184
ksm 27
re-20
and a a few 58's and 57's

my mic preamps are
focusrite octopre
rme fireface
tascam m2600 mixer

thoughts?

I like the pelruso idea. They are great. To be honest though, I would never buy another Neve. Bad luck with themm

I'm curious about your experience with Neve, why have you had bad luck? Was it with the portico series or their older stuff?

Also- what's your experience with the Peluso r14? Would you consider it a good all around vocal mic? How would you describe its sound?
