HELP ME QUICK: buying tomor b/c of sale

i posted in another forum but I think it was the wrong forum to post in,

what do people think about doing firewire straight in from a pre-amp like this product that the guys at sam ash highly reconemnded->

Go for it. I use a firewire interface for fun and profit- rock solid, sounds great. Firewire is a fantastic way to do hi-def audio.

I agree. I use a MOTU828 and have had zero problems going with firewire. Very portable too. I hadn't seen that Presonus product before. What are they selling it for?
Just make sure you don't need more inputs.
It's nice to see a new NC'er on here. I'm a Durham dude myself.
 
Yah I've ordered the Firopod myself. The Presonus gear has a good rep
