help me pick out a nice marshall/mesa type amp

i was gonna get the marshall DSL2001 401, but after reading the reliability reviews I quickly changed my mind.

please recommend some good distortion amps,
warm rich distortion,not death metal dist.

-Mesa Boogie Mark IV
-Riviera Knucklehead 55
-ENGL Savage Spec. Edt. (my favourite. Singing tones. Very allround)
-Marshall JCM 2000 TSL 122

Buy one o' these and you won't need a new amp after this.
BTW, I hear some great stories about VHT. It's not much available in Europe, but in the US it seems reasonably priced with great tone.
