Hi all,
I've been using the trusted Sm57 for everything....and it's time for me to consider a condenser mic. I just listened to a CD recorded by some friends of mine and you guessed it, - they used condensers...and I was very impressed....
I need a condenser mic for <$200. It will be used for micing:
(1) a guitar amp ( Boogie DC-3 with SG or Strat)
(2) acoustic guitars ( Yamaha Steel string and (nice) borrowed nylon string)
(3) my vocals (male)
I have a Joemeek VC3Q preamp for the mic.
Music genre is rock-blues and rock-jazz and mainly guitar instrumental. No high gain metal, just clean solos or a little overdrive...
Thanks,
