Help me out with something, amp software.

Im planning on getting a presonus firepod. This has an instrument input. I was wondering if there were any ampifier software that is equally good, if not better than a pod. I don't want to mic amps, so just curious.

You could check out Guitar Rig

Guitar Rig or Amplitube. Honestly though, I think the Pod would sound better. I use a Pod Pro and get good results. Just remember that no matter what, nothing is going to sound like an amp mic'd.

I wanna conserve space, maybe ill just get a pod, unless anyone else has any better ideas.
