Tell me more about your studio so I have an idea what name is most fitting.

I always do net checks to make sure a potential names won't run into any domain name problems. Just in case you wanted to advertise on the internet. Try looking at names of other big studio's to see if there is something that keeps catching your eyes and your ears. A name has to envoke imagery as well as be easy to remember. I would drop the words "productions" and "recording" from the title. Using the word studios in the title helps search engines categorize you easier.

My-Keys Audio:p (pronounced mikey's)

Lost Oak Studio's, Southern Rain Studio's, Melody Machine Studio's, Digital Acoustics or Bonanza Barn ;) or simply what my wife calls my studio...The Music Room.

After you get a name picked out, then do a trademark search to make dead sure you don't lose your investments over a stupid lawsuit! Don't rush into a name, try it out for a while to see if it sticks to your ribs.

My 2 bits, truncated of coarse:)

Yeah, I usually do check for domain names, but there's always .net.

>>My-Keys Audio (pronounced mikey's)<<
Pretty funny!:p

"Digital Acoustics" is pretty clever!

I still like "The Final Score"

How about "Mercenary Studios"...!!!

:D :D

(Actually I voted for "Key Note...")

The Final Score has a bit of a morbid sound to it...final...or sounds to much like a movie starring Arnold Sh.

I like carriagehousemusic has a warm image to it although its a bit long.

HA!
Yeah, it kind of does.
I was thinking of a musical score, like a movie score..... well... obviously.

At first glance I thought you typed CarnageHouse..................ROFLMAO.

Well........it would be different:)

what about just "THE CARRIAGE HOUSE"

Fist studio I was ever in was called "THE WASH HOOSE" ....an old converted Scottish outhouse for doing the laundry in. The idea that there were people in there centuries before us washing clothes kinda took your mind off the more monotanus points of recording. Well......long enough to build another blunt ;)

Alec.

How about:

December's Mist Studios..........ok It doesn't roll of the tongue..

OK...

September Sun Studios...........Hmm...maybe do something with the three SSSs in a logo..

I'm trying here--Michael..

Man I hate this part!!!!

OK, I vote for "Carnage House!"
When can we come over.

larry

ps I cheated a look at michael's web site...

Remember - a name is what you make it to be.
Who'd call a band The Beatles, or ABBA???

cheers

I like... "The Morbid Starfish". :p

Your welcome,
Bob

ps... if you like it, let me know so I can register the domain name
and then sell it to you at an unbeleivable price!

............. How about Hippy Hollow Studios?
That might be OK if I were out closer to the lake.....
(You must be FROM Austin)

Some help you guys are, everything is split evenly down the board! :p :(

Jones' Tones, Michaels's Music, SuSuStudio (sorry, Phil)

Seriously, Carriage House Recording would probably get my vote... Steve
