Help me find this mixer

alright so right now I'm using a yamaha MG16/4 mixer. I love it, but my main complaint is that it doesnt have sweepable mids, and the preamps aren't enough for me anymore. could anyone reccommend a similar mixer with sweep mids and possibly better preamps? i still need 16 channels and 4 outputs though. I'd prefer to stay away from built in digital effects and digital outputs, since i dont want to pay for things i dont need.

Um, to get a gret improvement in pres you're probably going to have to look for outbaords, but for a moderate improvement you could look for something like a Mackie Onyx- I use the Onyx pres and I find them adequate for the majority of channels.
The onyx consoles have have pretty good reviews, and I've used a couple in live gigs and can't complain.

If you've got het money you ocul look at some of the cheap Midas consoles- the headamps in those aren't too shabby, although I'm not a big fan of the Venice series.
