My girlfriend decided she was going to throw down some cash for me and buy me a new mic this month. The problem is that im not really sure what i want.
I currently own:
5 shure sm-57s
2-shure 58s
1-shure beta 52
2 Ev-635a
2-mxl 603s
1- At 3035
1- At pro 25
The mics that are really next on my list are a little pricy sennheiser 441, beyer m201 or m88. Shes looking to spend around 100 dollars. I think i have enough mics to cover instruments so im thinking get another large diaphragm condenser. In the 100 price range that leaves the SP B1, Mxl v67g and Oktava mk-319 i believe. Which of these condensers do you think would be a different flavor than my at-3035 but still be good in most general use? I know it really depends but im just trying to make up my mind lol. Is there another mic in this range im overlooking that i should be getting? Thanks guys
