Okay, I have read a little bit on here so far, and I am a new user of this BBS. I have been using a Soundblaster card for quite a while, but it has died on me. I know Soundblaster cards are not the way to go, but it provided me an ability to record at home.
I was looking at M-Audio cards from zzounds. I have a 16 channel mixer already set up so I don't need a USB interface for recording. This is a hobby right now, so I am spending a limited amount of money. I use Vegas Pro and Vegas Video for recording and editing.
$100-$200 is what I am willing to spend, I figure if my band makes a little money we can upgrade down the road.
What, from your experience, do you think I should buy?
