Help: MAudio FastTrack

Well I bought a M-audio fast track and I installed the drivers how it says in the manual... still no sound.... ? I use Krystal audio engine and I use the "Fast Track" option to record and I can barely here what is being recorded along with a lot of buzz.... I tried on 2 of my computers and get the same result. I am running a sm57 into the xlr input to the fast track and I have the line selected in the back. My mic input is up as well as my mix and output....

The signal light does light up even when the mic input level is low.

Any help would kick major ass....

I own a FastTrack and in my little experience of using mics with it I discovered it doesen't seem to pick up much when the mic input level is low on any mic. I usually kept it up full.

As for Krystal, for some reason I could never get it working with the FastTrack. My advice would be to download a demo of some software, make sure you can get the FastTrack working with it and buy the software. You might as well try the other free options available (such as Audacity) before you buy anything, though.
