HELP Latency problem, Tascam us122mkII, Cubase le5, Electronic drums.

I really need help with Latency!

My setup is Cubase Le5, Tascam us122MKII interface and Yamaha tdx500K electronic drums, PC windows 7 starter.

I am using stereo input L/R, Drums to Tascam, Tascam to PC

My problem is when I go to record to something the timing is off when I go to playback the drums are not lining up.

I tried setting the Tascam to Lowest Latency setting but when I record it is all fuzzy sounding.

Any help would be great please help me solve this thanks!
 
Normally the latency is kept to the normal level , and if it is creating timing problem then only way to figure out is keep trying it with different levels ,you have to find out which setting works for your pc cause it varies in different system configuration..

If you are getting sound of clicks on lowest latency then try lower (which is in the middle of normal and lowest) or may be higher latency might work for you , so I would suggest keep trying with all the five levels of settings and don't forget to close the cubase software before changing the latency , once you done then open it again
