Here's all of the stuff that i've researched and still wondering if this is a complete studio or do i need more accessories for my studio to get the best recordings.
VS-1880 Digital Studio Workstation
DS-50A 24bit Reference Monitors
SRQ-2031 Digital Graphic Equalizer
MC-303 Groove Box
Nakamichi RE-10 Stereo Receiver
Shur SM57 Mic
MDR7505 Professional Studio Headphones
Oh and by the way I play the piano and sing

Personally, I'd lose the graphic EQ and get a decent mic pre and also add a condenser mic.

what is the difference between a graphic eq and a pre and condenser mic

they're completely different. A condenser mic is an upmarket microphone, usually recommended for vocals. A mic pre is a microphone preamp used to boost the volume level of your microphone so it'll sound good and not weedy.

Forget the graphic eq. I have a VS1880 setup with amp and monitors. (And alot more...) Never used the EQ. (it's ready there in the same rack. You just don't need it.) Track Rat is completely right about the mic and pre. These 2 are where you're sound comes from, the start of your signal chain. If you start from an SM57 going to the VS1880's internal mic pre's, you're not gonna get very good results. With the VS1880, you really need an external micpre for good results...

As for the monitors. Don't know about the DS50. Go to a shop and listen...

What is the 'Nakamichi RE-10 Stereo Receiver'?? And why do you need it in a studio setup?

And LEARN before you buy. Read alot. Browse this site, try to understand all the mails. You want to know what you buy, what to expect from it, why you need it, and how to use it before you can make the right decisions when buying. If you don't know about condensors and pre's, you really gotta learn quite alot.
