HEY

i'm trying to install an aardvark 24/96 on my pc. i have windows XP home edition so i know i'll have problems. I only have the 98/95 drivers that came with the card. do you need the new drivers before the PC will even recognize the card? i can't even instsall the hardware. do you need to load new drivers before the pc will allow the card to be installed. if so...do i have to pull the card out of the machine, load the new drivers from the website and then put the card back in?
also is it possible it's my new computer giving me trouble and not XP. i've heard these aardvark 24/96's don't work with certain motherboard chipsets. how do I find out what my chipset is?
i go through my hardware wizard but it always ends up with "error during installation" if someone has gotten the aardvark direct pro to work on XP home edition could you post the steps I need to go through to get this thing installed

thanks

XP is very finicky and will warn of non-digitally signed drivers. You should'nt have to remove the card, just check Ardvarks website for the XP drivers if they have em yet!
If this is an off the shelf PC, you can call the manufacturer to find out what motherboard and chipset is installed.
