hello all,

This is my room:

www.geocities.com/elissunshine

I have 8 1m x 1m x 2'' absorbers

and two 1m long bass traps

what would you think the best way to locate for good acoustic
for this little home studio ?
this room serve as a control room and recording room as well.

and, I need to put the bass traps horizontally, which way do you recommend put it, toward the monitors or to the sides ??

thanx

That's not nearly enough bass trapping for that room, especially if the traps are made of foam. But to answer your question, bass traps should always go in the room corners. Then you should put one panel on each side wall halfway between the loudspeakers and where you sit while mixing. Whatever you do on the left side of the room should also be done on the right.
