HELP! Immediate advice needed on new mixer!

I need to purchase a new mixer, soon! Please provide any recommendations. Price wise, I'm trying to keep it under $1000.00 if possible.

Analog Mixer:
12-16 STEREO channels. (yes stereo, not 24-32 mono channels)
Eq, and effects on board would be nice.

Right now I'm leaning towards a Behringer Eurorack MX3242X. Around $800.00. But I can't be sure if it has 16 stereo inputs. It says it has 16 total inline channels and 32 mono inputs? You can read about it here.

You'd be a FOOL if you buy a Behringer Mixer!!! Trust Me!!
Go to the Equipment forums as there are several threads on mixer purchases!
 
I'd have to agree with Q, i saw some really well priced used mackies on the second hand market.
