Help! I'm an idiot.

and fairview, i had my speakers pulgged into the headphones port before but i wanna have my headphones and speakers hooked up. i have the inout thing figured out now ...i think....
 
How much of this confusion is Ableton, do you all think, team? I've not actually used it, but I've heard it's a bit of a beast to get your head around initially - the messages on a couple of those screens the OP posted don't really seem all that intuitive.

Or is the OP just struggling with some basic hardware & routing concepts... or both? Curious...
 
Hold sheep shit! I've never see such a mashup of wires. I'm glad my set up is simple. :thumbs up:
