I was installing a new drop down access cover and i reomved the power on bulb and it sparked and now none of the transoprt buttons work ggrrrrr
Some one over at tape heads suggested i may have fried a regulator in the power supply.
What do you think?
I'm carting it off to the techs tommorow for a service and biasing to Qauntergy 478 tape.
But i'm worried it will turn out expensive now.
Should it be an easy fix?
I'm gonna cry and noone likes to see a grown man cry
help me out please

If it's like the A77, there's an internal fuse which you've most likely popped. I did this to my B77 - I fitted a suitable replacement and back to life it came.

EDIT: Yeah, the fuse is in the back of the power supply so you don't even have to pull the machine apart to get at it. I'd pull that out, and see if it's blown. If the fuse is fine, then I'd start to worry.
Even so, if you have blown a regulator or a power transistor it's not going to cost much anyway, but it's most likely the fuse.

I don't know that player, but any I've worked at have a mains fuse, and several other fuses internal.

Worth checking.

Okay, if it's like the B77, there should also be two more internal fuses on the PSU module. If the main fuse is okay, it's probably one of those two.
