I was just wondering if the quality of patch leads matter, considering how short they are? Anyone got any suggestions for cheap, good value for money patch leads?

Any help would be appreciated :)

Thanks,
Stan

I use pretty cheap plastic six inch ones. I would seriously look at something smaller though, you can get ones that are pretty much just two jacks with virtually no cable between them. I don't know how mcuh this will effect your sound - it's the same with guitar cables - but even a few pedals can make things look really messy.

George L's are what I use. They're about $50 for 5 cut-to-length, and are amazingly quiet. They look cool too.

I'm gonna have to do this too Mike, there's no point getting cheap when it comes to the final part of the chain.

I personally like to build my patch leads between pedals with "L"type jacks- they let you keep the space between the pedals at a minimum. Especially when you are in a small stage area at gigs.
