hey guys and gals - we need some help.
my partner wants to be a songwriter and has gathered together quite a wedge of equipment.
however, we are having some problems hooking it all up and wondered if some of you old hands could tell us what links up with what.
this is the kit we have
a PC with a DSP factory sound card
an emu proteus 2000 sound module
a voicemaster compressor (with a mic attached)
a midiman multimixer with 10 channels
a midiman usb
a samson amp
a simple keyboard
also we are using logic platinum
we have tried to hook everything up, and have had some success, but we dont seem to be able to record through the mic. im not sure if this is because we havent connected the right things together or because we havent done something in the software.
can any of you wise heads out there tell us what we should plug into what?
