Ok I was ebaying and came across an ahton (AUstrailan brand) VP50 All tube head. Well the thing was $300AUS so I just had to buy it.

I'll let you guys know how it sounds when I get it.

Now I need to get a cab for it. I was thinking about a cheap behringer one like the ones pictured here.

Cab 1

Cab 2

Cab 3

I thank you for your input if you have any more suggestions my price is about $500AUS I know the saying "Buy cheap buy again." But I know I will be buying again this combination is just going to satisfy me for the next year or so.
(I need to save me some more $$$ I spent a heap on my studio)

I'd take the Hartke. (door #3) Behringer makes good stuff ( I like their 1953 tube pre-amp and the headsphone amps) and then there's the lemons. We bought some Behr- subs and one of the cabs delaminated on one side within a month. They would have covered it under warranty (had we saved the original box and shipped it back)... we fixed it ourselvses and have since got some JBL subs with Crown power amp... no comparison

just my 2 cents

I tend to stay away from our good friends at venue music. Because they sell at retail price. I could haggle but I'm not really into haggeling online.

I'll give them another look though.

Oh thanks for the phantom neg repper " I would like to help a dwarf gubble my knubble. " I hope you have a nice day.
