I run two of those 130 dollar Nady 1x15 cabs, and they work fine for me, although I've never run anything incredibly heavy through them - I have a bass cab (4x10, 1000 watt) that acts as the sub for our PA system. The bass, however, also runs through the Nadys, and Ive had no problem with them. On the other hand, I've heard plenty of horror stories.
Both lines also have smaller and even cheaper cabs and 18 subs too.
I would save my pennies a bit and avoid any of that stuff if it's at all possible. You'll really be happier.
none of the above. i like the direction of lt. bob's post but go for the yamaha club series or peavey sp series minimum. for what it's worth, i would take one quality pa cab over two complete crap boxes any day.

I went with the Kustoms because of the llbanks guy
I just need something for the small garage we've been practicing in, and I don't feel like lugging my JBL's (15" + horn) Because they are HEAVY, and I don't feel secure leaving them there.....
Check craigslist and buy something with a nice pedigree for about half, you can usually talk them down a bit too... Somedude here was selling two older Carvin 15' and-a-horns for like $250, prolly talk him down to 200 if your nice... And I trust a used Carvin way more than a new Nady or Kustom.
Problem with those cheep brands is that most of them, while they might work (YMMV) have such low power ratings that you might just end up breaking them inadvertently one day.
