ARRRGH!. I've done everything.
I have the Alesis passive M1s powered by an Alesis RA100 coming out of my Roland VM3100. The problem is one side buzzes at certain frequencies, especially on bass notes. I've been using them for three years with no problems and now this is about to drive me nuts. I've done all the typical troubleshooting, swicthed amp channels, amps, changed drivers and tweeters around and still the D and G buzz the hell out of my left monitor.
It sounds like something is buzzing on my desk or inside the speaker but it's not, it is the speaker, I've had the damn thing apart ten times, glued everything into the cabinet...ect.. The sound decreases when I pick the speaker up but it is still audible compared to the right channel.
Please...do you know what this is?
Help...I'm going insane.
