Help a girl in distress! Delta 1010lt problem

Hi Guys

Silly girly here needing help.

I can not get any signal into my spdif input when sending a signal via external digital devices.

Other digital devices give me levels etc...But not the spdif

It SENDS a signal if I use the spdif as my output...But recieving I get no levels.

Also...In the MAudio software mixer cotrol panel, the SPDIF tag gives the message: SDPIF signal: Invalid or Not Present

PLEASE HELP!

In the Delta Panel, there is a choice of two settings for "master clock". Normally, use the internal, but to have an external s/pdif coming in, change it to that.

It's a pity the driver doesn't have an automatic detection switch for this. You have to remember to switch it back to internal clock when no external s/pdif is there.

Hopefully, that's all you need to do.

I'm not concerned about women's liberation; it seems to be doing just fine. After all, I record at home while my wife is at work! I am curious, however, just how many women lurk or participate on this forum. I would guess that the numbers are small but that's just a gut feeling.

LOL! womens liberation is doing just fine...3 of my bosses are women....how 1 of them got there is obvious. the other 2 have the smarts. i think there may be about 15 women that are on here....some dont reveal themselves as "chrissy" did....doesnt mean i would talk down to them or think less of them. i would love for my GF to be interested in recording so i dont have to keep running through setups and takedowns. if she can play guitar, bass, and or drums....I'm sold...well she still needs to look decent.
