hi. i recorded this with a rode ntk1 mic, a dmp3 m-audio preamp and a spirit mixer. i use cubase sx.

Ambient music is not my vibe, so I won't comment on the artistic merits... but from a sonic perspective, you've got issues.
Sounds like you were awfully heavy-handed with the EQ - you've got some nasty peaks in the high-mids...
Everything else sounds very thin and lacks any sort of presence....
Hang around this site - you'll pick up a lot of tips from people who started just where you are now and have improved dramatically.
BTW, in the future, you should be posting these types of review request in the MP3 clinic...
