ya really need some monitors, or experiment at different monitoring levels on the phones so you can hear everything. mostly all I hear is guitar, some background cymbals some snare, and an occasional thump of the bass drum. The vocals were up but no quite enough to be understood well in parts. Good guitar playing

Ditto.....very guitar heavy mix.

I'd like to hear a remix of this.

Guitars are too loud and I hear NO bottom end at all.The vocal levels sound OK in the verses but they get drowned out when the distorted guitars kick in.

Drums should come UP.I cant hear the kick drum at all.

What the heck is that guitar on the right side playing?

Not a bad song,just needs a re-mix.

Hey guys...thanks for your input. I played the tune on my friends computer and most of what you guys have said is true...so I am in the process of a remix...

As for the funky guitar..haha...Im just playing the chords that I would play normaly but Im taking the pick and tapping the strings along the fretboard. Its just a technique I use to give the track a little added noise, but maintaning some tone....

Ill post the remix soon...

The vocals are very crisp, I like them. The guitar and bass sound pretty good as well. The drums are killing this. How did you record the drums?

Well since my recorder is limited to 2 tracks at a time, I must run the drums through a mixer then to the recorder...my setup is...

Behringer ub2222fx pro mixer

3 '57s
beta 52 kick
marshall electronics condensor

On this particular track I ran my bass player through the mixer with the drums and into the recorder, and we jammed through headphones. I know this causes extreme loss in flexibility but I was just experimenting....any thoughts..
