Hello all. I was wondering if someone can be my Cubase buddy! This is the deal I have
cubase 3.7 windows 98 second edition
pentium 111 processor
I am running a 13.5 gig and a 20.5 gig harddrive
currently 128 ram gonna move up soon to 256 or more
i have a gadget labs wavepro 8/24
driver for wavepro wpnt109(it says that is the best for my wave)
intel(reman)500mhz p111(and motherboard)
16mb agp graphics card
I have optimized my computer to the best that i know how, from reading on the cubase site, and other sites like this one. I got got the wave on it's own IRQ, Got almost everything turned off in my computer. It is running nice. I have no problems recording, but playback i do get pops and clicks and a little studder, comes in goes from min to min. I have gotten good results moving my asio configuration to the asio multimedia instead of the 8/24 asio but i get a delay when i click on anything in the cubase program.(meaning, when i hit play it takes about a a sec in half before it starts to play, so so..... Oh yeah and i tend to get better performance when i use 48.000 instead of 44.100. and set my memory per channel very high, like 900's. I would apreciate any and all suggestions yall guys have. Thanks Johnny Chandler
