Hi guys,
Been struggling with this track for a while now and it's got to the stage where I can no longer see the wood for the trees. The mix is still killing me...

Anyway, looking for some crits on the overall song structure and tips on how to tackel the mix from anyone who has the time.
Track title 'Epiphany'

Cheers!

How'd you record the guitars? They sound mucho-Directo. Nice playing.

Cool song. No nits arrangement wise. Nice riffs and everything fits together pretty well.

I'm not thrilled with the guitar tones. The feeling is there, but they're very 'direct' and muddy sounding. I'm hearing very little bass or kick punching through at all. Its all fuzzy guitar, hats, and a weak snare. The drums sound as if they were recorded with one mic at the other end of the room. I'm not trying to be overly critical, but thats what it sounds like. This is a really cool and well arranged song. I think you just need to go back to square-one with everything. I'd love to hear it fixed up. :)

More power

Hey man, nice solos you gtot there!

Ok, let's get to the point: the mix. Maybe you should give more power to the drums, especially on the bass drum and the snare (and a better tone to this one) Guitar work is great but they're too high compared to the rest of the "ensemble" WOuld like to hear a remix of the tune. Good work!
