Except for the normal doubling of distorted rythm-guitars, I decided to try doubling the guitar with a distorted bass (one per channel) to get a more aggressive/massive sound. To this I added the normal "clean" bass in the middle.
The distorted bass is mixed just so high that it gives the guitars an extra push in the right direction.
Guitars/Disted bass are recorded with a Roland GP100 straight into my computer.
2x2 distorted guitars, 1x1 distorted bass, 1 normal bass.
