Heart of Hearts mix help needed (rock song)

The opening guitar and vocal seem to be fighting for the same spot on the EQ. Once you move the vocal up it all comes together nicely - sounds good.

Thanks Mark. I'm having trouble with this forum accepting the SoundCloud link. Usually it's easy. Anybody have any ideas?
 
On the song's Soundcloud page select Share, then copy the link at the bottom of that window.
Paste that link here in your post as you would paste copied text.
 
Thanks Spatini. I keep doing that and it just won't work. It should be easy like you said.

I'm trying to share a private track but that shouldn't matter I wouldn't think.

I've done it before here but it absolutely will not let me this time. The link works with other website forums just not this one.

And now I can't delete post #6???

Also thank you Spatini for checking the mix out. Yeah the vocals fight with the peaks of that guitar. It's been an issue. I'll work on it some more.

Don't know what's up with the SoundCloud link? Maybe it will work next time...
