Hi there, I have a question regarding using mulitple headphones..

I want to record a debate and need 4-6 pairs of headphones but I dont know what I need to do this.
I'm going to use 4-6 mics through a mixing desk into a pc or a digital workstation and so I need a bit of kit to catr for the headphones.
any suggestions'
Thanks
Rich

Try the Behringer HA4700 (or similar). This has four channels into which you can connect three sets of headphones each (i.e. 12 in all). And it's cheap.

Hey, thanks for your reply. Do you think that kind of thing is the only option? I thought maybe there were some kind of multi adaptors or something.. something more basic..

Thanks a lot
Rich

Realistically that's the best option, IMO. If you start putting loads of headphones in parallel off one headphone output, it won't work well at all.

If you're handy with a soldering iron, you could easily make a headphone amplifier using a speaker amplifier, and running high impedance headphones from it. But make sure you understand what you're doing.

I'd say the Behringer unit is still the best bet...
