Headphone suggestions

Right now I am just using some crappy little Sony, probably for a walkman or something. I cant even get bass out of them.
But now that I have got more serious about recording, can someone give me any ideas on a nice set of headphones. I dont have alot of money to spend, but need something better than I have.
 
I have a set of Sennheiser HD497's. They were $160 Australian. Something of that type might be suitable. I really like them.

Bayer 250 cans=very good product. A bit over 100 pezzutos. Don't know if you shop the net....maybe you can do better.

The Beyer 770s are also very good but cost more.

Get on line and do the can-can find!

Do a search in the BBS for headphones. More recomendations than you can shake a stick at.

Sheesh, we get this asked in a different thread just about daily now.
