If you don't get any bids on the dead FIREPOD, I'd pay shipping to take it off your hands so you don't have to pay for the junkyard to take it. :D

BTW, are you sure your wall wart didn't fail? Sometimes transformers go open for no obvious reason. If yours happens to be defective, I just happen to have an extra one lying around; make me an offer. :D
 
i'll double check, buy I'm pretty sure that's not the case with this. I'm pretty sure that whatever the problems are could be fixed by some type of repair shop for under 50 dollars or so. but.. yeah.. hah.

If I find out however that it's just the chord I'll let you know.
