The intro riff sound like it's from a Doors song. I forget the name. :)

Good work. I did enjoy listening to it.

thanks blkdog7

i'll have to break out some of my old doors mp3's, and figure out which one it might be!!

Great job, Gonzo.

Cool drum programing, sounds like something from Robben Ford's first albums. Fantastic.

Excelent guitar sound and playing.

BTW, I noticed that in your equipment you used:

cream strat>>barber DDSS>>Boss NS-1>>boogie>>palmer pdi-09>>weber mass lite>>1x12 w/greenback
palmer>>A Designs audio MP-1 mic pre>>DBX MC-6 comp>>ART DPS (convertor only)>>sonar

What is the ART DPS (convertor only)?

Thanks

God damn you are an awesome player.

I'm not qualified to comment.

Great job, dude. I love your drum sound, too.

Man that's some tasty guitar work. I like the drums and the wide toms don't bother me, but maybe an overhead right down the middle would share their thunder and smooth them out. Really like the stop. Great sound. I think the vocals really fit the song. No nits, really. I don't know what that crazy sound is in the "aside" but I really dig it. Tubular bells and police cars?

Oh, man, I just caught myself being really stupid. The song ended and then rewound and started again and I mistook it for a stop. It was timed perfectly so that's why I got fooled.:o

robben ford, now there's a name that doesn't get batted around very often!

the convertor, is an inexpensive ART unit, that has (2) tube mic pres in it, and a convertor section..
similar to the Tube MP unit, and the DI/O unit combined.

Supercreep
thanks man, for the kind words.

xeries
yep, an overhead in the middle, would have totally dialed it in!
good ear...

and, yea, you ain't the first one to get caught by that silly 'play over' thing on the IAC player!!
LOL

the 'war' sounds, all that noise, in the middle breakdown thing leading into the solo section, was all guitar.
