I'm using a M-audio fast track pro pre-amp and a MXLv67g condenser mic and cool edit pro as my program.. I've tried to record a verse and it show on my cool edit pro that it's only recording on the left side of the program. what should I do to balance it? this is what I did...

Under device order what I did was on the Playback Devices tab (Multitrack Device Prefernce Order) 1st S/PDIF (Fast Track Pro) 2nd Line 1/2 (Fast Track Pro) 3rd Wave Mapper (EV) 4th is Speaker/HP

under Recording Devices tab (Multitrack Device Prefernce Order) 1st Line 1/2 (Fast track Pro) 2nd Line 3/4 (Fast Track Pro) 3rd Wave Mapper 4th Microphone (Realtek High Defini(EV)

under MIDI output (Multitrack Device Prefernce Order) 1st Fast Track Pro MIDI Out 2nd MIDI Mapper 3rd Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth

under MIDI Input device tab (Multitrack Device Prefernce Order) 1st Fast Track Pro MIDI in 2nd MIDI Mapper

Is there something wrong? what should I change

In multi-track view each track has an input selector. It probably says "Rec 1". Click that button and it will probably list your Fast Track, the built-in sound card and Wave Mapper. It will also let you select Left Channel, Right Channel or Stereo, and choose between 16 bit and 32 bit. Select Fast Track and either Left or Right depending on which you're connected to. Then when you record it will record a mono track.
