There’s a purpose that He’s had since before the world went bad
Life on earth was not supposed to ever end
But free will was misused and it could not be excused

I'll assume this post is a request for critique.

Not sure what the rules are for the genre, but I believe the line quoted above is incorrect theology. Otherwise, as lyrics go, it seems in line with the few examples I've heard that achieve some sort of cross over success (wasn't there recently a tune called "I Can Only Imagine" that got some Top 40 run?)

I would love to hear this to music Bucks.
the only thing I might suggest if I may is a trim... something like this...

(just trimmed the first 2 lines of *extra words* ) take or chuck the idea as always :)

I was using "accept endless life" in the sense that it's a gift offered by God. I was hoping it would be understood that all would have to follow Christ to experience it together. Maybe that didn't come thru.

The words seem to work with the music. I think it will work the way you suggested as well. If I can get my studio up I'll work with it. Also I was wondering if I should remove the chorus somewhere in the song? Is it too much?

this is how I would format it if it were mine :) I took out two of the chorus's..
I think it will be long enough as it is...and you could always fade the chorus again as an outtro. I also Sent you a private message here on the site :)

Thanks for the imput Smile. That sounds better to me and the fade could work well as you said. It just seemed a little overdone to me too, but hearing someone else say it really helps. Sometimes working so long on something makes it hard to see the forrest for the trees. Thanks again.
