Have Tascan DP-01FX and that's it right now............??'s and recommendations

Hi......Just got a tascam dp 01fx.......to start recording guitar vocals etc. i guess i need a mic, receiver, (will a stereo recver/amp do?) and speakers.....Can i listen to recordings thru headphones directly plugged into tascam unit......Just need help with the basic components to get started........I know this is fundamental but i am at the very beginning.....Thx .......Scott go4blues....

Yes, headphones will let you hear the tracks you have recorded, as well as what you are recording (that's called monitoring).
Yes, you'll need a microphone if you want to record vocals, or mic up your guitar amp or any other instrument.
Yes, you will need some kind of amp and speakers if you want to play your tracks aloud - or you can export to your computer, and use yoru computer speakers, or burn a CD.
