Has anyone used the Lexicon MX 200?

I just picked one up last weekend and I have not finished putting my studio back together!

Just wondering about the sound, come on guys and gals the unit has been on the market for almost 18 months and you mean to tell me that no one on this board has used one? that shocks me!

I think it has better reverb then the dreamverb on my UAD-1.

You still have to route audio out of the comp and back to use it as a plugin btw, it does not run like a onboard DSP (ie internal audio routing). The VST plugin feature just lets you automate controls, it does not offload any processing

Oh btw, one known issue is getting both the digital in and digital out working at the same time with m-audio cards. With my 1010LT; I use the digital in on the MX200 and the analog outs back into the 1010LT.

I just got rid of mine I had it for about 6 months. After I got used to it I didn't lilke the reverb, to brittle and bright. When buying a Lexicon you have to get one of the better units, they have great sounding reverb. The cheaper ones are just that cheap.

I use mine every once and a while. SIR with some of the better impulses I think is better though.

I dig mine. Way better than Digi's awful DVerb, Waves RVerb, or anything along those lines. I don't use VST, so can't comment on that aspect. But as a standalone verb unit, it definately sounds more expensive than it actually is.
