Scott,
I've heard your stuff, you should never give up. I can't play "can't live without you" any more because I catch myself singing it, humming it....whatever.......for days. That, my friend is a VERY good song.

Thanks for the compliment! :D

The problem I had was getting out there and meeting people and networking.. With every step up I would fall two.. I was not persistent enough for the business.

Hey Porter - "You da man!"

Thanks for spending your time to put up all those links for me. What a load of resources; beats surfing endlessly and fruitlessly.

When it comes to writing, I'm just into the usual pop gamut from soft pop to pop rock; I love hard rock, alternative and electronica, but I consider crafting a really good pop song to be the most fun/rewarding challenge.

What about yourself?

Mate,

That took 5 minutes...

Went to www.google.com.au looked up songwriting

Went to au.yahoo.com and did the same.

The record companies... well I'm looking for work in the industry at the moment.

I mostly write somewhere between country to contemporary pop/soft rock.

My cousin is completing her HSC (Higher School's Certificate) this year and I'm planning on producing a demo/ep for her at the end of the year/beginning of next year. My wife is also on to me to produce herself. ;)

If you are interested in collaborating shoot me an e-mail. ;)

Yeah I'd been to that one before, but it's sort of "dodgy" as it doesn't seem to have been updated in something like a year. THe contest looks interesting though.
