Has anyone tried / heard of these?

Cool idea.

I don't like the looks of the foot board, though. Doesn't look comfortable or balanced.
 
this looks like a cool concept, and if performance was significantly increased, i might consider one. but i have to assume that a spring return is far more reliable. in any case, i only live about 30 miles from that place, so i just called them and left a message asking if they have anything set up at that address so i can try it out. if they have some sort of demo room there, i'll give it a spin and post my findings. :)
