I just want to make a comment on these little boutique amp shops.
When I lived in Austin Texas, there was a boutique amp dealer that hand built 60's fender clones. I cant remember the name of the amp, but they were over 1000 each in pricing.
And then I found out one of my neighbors acturally worked for them for a while. The conditions of working is listed below.
A. Minimum Wage(Or barely above it).
B. Not very flexible shifts.
C. No discount on complete amps (You have to built your own and pourchase parts through them)
And these guys are making some 900 profit off each amp. They go through the local churchs to hire musicians that wants a break into the amp building industry, and that is not something I would ever want to be apart of.

I've seen them in magazines but haven't played one. I have played a Cornford which is simular. It kicks MAJOR ass.
