Has anyone heard of this program Kristal Audio Engine? (http://www.kreatives.org/kristal)

I just checked out Kristal and it says that you need a "State of the art" machine (> 1 GHz recommended) running Windows XP or 2000 (Win98/ME requires latest Internet Explorer 6.0).

I'm still running Win98SE on a PIII 733MHz with 256MB RAM. Has anyone tried it on a minimal system similar to that? How'd it work?

Thanks.

For a free program it's good to start off and learning. :)

Heck, I really like the program. I have recorded for a while, and started with Kristal, then bought Cool Edit, then moved ahead and bought Sonar, also. But on smaller projects, I will just use Kristal due to the pure simplicity! Hope this helps!

Cool... thanks for the response.

On what kind of system are you running it? That's what I'd really like to know. (ie: OS, CPU, RAM, etc...)
