Wow! The Steel/Slide guitar part is sublime - took me a second to realize the rhythm guitar part wasn’t distorting - but it's the drums are playing along with it - very cool - Vocal is really close in feel and tone to Youngs original - great job.

It's pretty good as always, great playing.

Some of the symbol hits are late which may be intentional but I want to jump in and 'fix' it.

@Papanate , Thanks for the kind words. I'm Really enjoying playing with the slide guitar lately. It's sure easy to fill in the bottom end with it.
@BTStudio , I sure appreciate the listen and comment.
@HumanPlanet , Yeah , about every other time I listen , I hear something funky in a few spots with the percussion. Can you give me a couple of specific spots you are hearing it ? It's changing locations for me. I actually haven't addded cymbols yet , so it must be one of the other instruments ?? Thanks .. mark

@HumanPlanet , Sorry.. my bad. There was a cymbol track I had mixed back. There were a few spots that didn't sound right. I moved them back to the 1 beat. Also having some timing issues with the main acoustic guitar. I'll be in editing mode for a while .. ms

The newer mix is better but I think there's more work to do...

I'd start by getting rid of the cymbals altogether now and see how it sounds as they don't seem to add anything and may indeed detract from the piece making it sound a bit messy.

The rest is really coming together nicely.

@HumanPlanet , Yes I'm still playing with the cymbols. The problem I'm having is that "unfreezing" my TTS synth , to remove or adjust the cymbols , causes an immediate crash and shutdown of my project. I bounced it to audio and am trying to tame them with Dynamic EQ. They are real close to the upper freq. range of the brushed snare taps. The link now reflects my first attempt at it , and probably uploaded after your responce. I'll keep working on it.
